Marcus & Martinus
Musical group
Information
Marcus & Martinus rose to fame as two of Scandinavia's biggest pop sensations after winning the "Junior MGP" 2012 singing contest at the age of 9 in their home country. Their winning song "To dråper vann" hit top 10 on the Norwegian charts, peaking at number 8, and was followed by their biggest hit to date, "Elektrisk," which stayed on the charts for 66 consecutive weeks. With over 1 billion streams, the duo has gained a massive following and sold out arenas across Scandinavia. They have also supported Jason Derulo on his European tour and topped the charts in their home country, as well as in Sweden and Finland, with multiple hit singles. Their latest singles have a more mature sound and showcase their growth both musically and personally. Their single "Gimme You Love" also charted top 300 on radio worldwide in the beginning of 2023. Marcus & Martinus came in 2nd place in the Swedish ESC - "Melodifestivalen" with the song "Air" in 2023. After their successful Nordic tour "We Are Not The Same Pt1" in beginning of 2024 they competed in the Swedish ESC - "Melodifestivalen" and won. They will therefore represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest later this year.
