Hold Tight ………. I cannot think of a more relevant phrase than this as we enter the year of the Fire Horse! As I reflect on my time in Morocco over the holidays I think of all the people in IRAN who are fighting a much needed, Revolution and willing to die for what they believe in.
We take so much for granted
Myself included. The freedom to travel the world. To wear what I want to wear.
To ride a horse across the desert. To speak Freely and not be silenced by punishment, torture, and possibly death.
To sing. To dance. To choose my spiritual path, not someone else’s.. The women of Iran do not have this freedom. I stand with them. The people of Iran have not known freedom for centuries I cannot claim to truly know the suffering that has been endured but my thoughts and prayers are with the people of Iran.
The time is now. Hold Tight!
I stand with Iran. Let their voices be heard..

Making the video for Hung Up was an incredibly joyful experience!! Not only because I was so excited about this record, but I had fallen off my horse 6 weeks before the shoot for the video.
I had broken 9 bones in my body, including my collarbone , shoulder blade, and 6 ribs.!!With many prayers and lots of rehab. I somehow managed to make a video that celebrates Dance!
I don’t even know how I lifted my left arm. Notice it stays in the pocket of my jeans most of video. Miracles do happen. 🙏🏼

The excitement , the suspense and the Pageantry!! A truly sacred ritual to witness thousands of people hushed to a silence before the race begins! The race itself is impossible to describe. Grazie Mille! 🇮🇹🐎🐎🐎. Dreams do come true! Happy Birthday to me!!! ♥️ Ciao Italia!

Today is my Son Rocco’s birthday.
I feel the best gift I can give to him as a Mother - is to ask everyone to do what they can to help save the innocent children caught in the crossfire in Gaza.
I am not pointing fingers, placing blame or taking sides. Everyone is suffering. Including the mothers of the hostages. I pray that they are released as well.
I am merely trying to do what I can to keep these children from dying of starvation. ♥️

It’s a shame we do not live in a world that celebrates knowledge and experience and the wisdom that we can only learn from our elders who have survived for many decades on this planet. We are fixated on youth and physical beauty that ironically teaches us nothing and gives us only momentary gratification.
