Engelberg is located 25 km south of Lake Vierwaldstatter and 35km of City Luzern, in a flat, wide high valley at around 1000 m altitude.🫶🏼
The town is surrounded by the 3238 m high Titlis mountain massif in the south and a mountain range in the north, which is formed by the Engelberger Rotstock, Ruchstock, Rigidalstock and Walenstöcken mountains, all of which are up to around 2800 m high.😍
In the east, the Hahnen, which towers directly above the town at 2600 m, dominates the townscape.
